We collect information you provide and information generated as you use VayuRide:

• Account details — your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Profile — bio, photo, and travel preferences you add.
• Driver verification — for drivers, vehicle details and identity documents (e.g. driving licence) you upload for review.
• Rides & bookings — routes you publish or book, seats, and prices.
• Location — while a driver has an active ride and chooses to share it, we process live GPS location so riders can follow the trip. Location sharing stops when the ride ends.
• Usage & device data — basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To verify drivers and their vehicles.
• To publish, search, match, and book rides.
• To show live ride tracking to booked riders.
• To send you service messages — verification codes and transactional notifications about your rides and bookings.
• To keep the platform safe and prevent misuse.

If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from VayuRide for the purposes below. Consent is obtained when you enter your number on our sign-in screen to create or access your account.

• Message types — one-time verification (sign-in) codes and transactional ride notifications (booking requests, approvals, and ride status).
• Frequency — message frequency varies based on your activity.
• Rates — message and data rates may apply.
• Opt-out — reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.

No mobile information will be sold, and text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

• Between users — drivers and riders on the same ride see limited profile details (such as name and vehicle) needed to coordinate the trip.
• Service providers — vendors that process data on our behalf, such as messaging (Twilio), email, mapping (Google Maps), hosting, and secure file storage. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Legal — when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Live location data is retained only briefly to power ride tracking.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

• Update your profile details at any time from your profile page.
• Opt out of texts by replying STOP.
• Request access to or deletion of your account information by contacting us.

VayuRide is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
